Vernon is a city in the south-central region of British Columbia, Canada. Named after Forbes George Vernon, a former MLA of British Columbia who helped found the famed Coldstream Ranch, the City of Vernon is home to a state of the art performing arts centre, The Vernon and District Performing Arts Centre. The society presents three series of entertainment including dance, theatre and child oriented. The performing arts centre also hosts hundreds of touring musical acts, local talent and community based events on a yearly basis. The city also hosts The Powerhouse Theatrical Society,this award winning Community theatre group has entertained audiences in Vernon and area for over 50 years there season runs from November until May each year. Vernon also boasts one of the most successful film societies in Canada. Films are presented every second Monday at Vernon's Towne Cinema. The Vernon Film Society also produces two film festivals per year. One is a festival dedicated to the presentation of documentary films from around the world. The Second film festiva is also an international film festival dedicated to the presentation of mainstream movies that fall into the "Arts" genre.
Natalie is nothing short of reliable, thorough and professional. Since 2009, she has organized my travels, assisting me in seeing over 15 countries. Most recently, she planned a Safari in Kenya and Tanzania for my Father and I. She is incredibly prompt with communications, and manages to anticipate my questions before I ask them. She's a wealth of knowledge, offering tips, tricks, do's and don'ts and ensures you have all prerequisites like vaccinations, VISAs, and all paperwork prior to departure. All things she diligently researches so that you can simply enjoy. My brother has used her to travel to Italy/Spain and most recently, a best friend for her destination wedding in 2019. They were so happy to have had her at the helm. I have future travel plans, and will without doubt make sure she's part of them.
